SEX EFFECT

In these past few weeks, I have had people question my “obsession” with sexual reflections. While I don’t see myself as a big sex analyst, I have great interest in the sexual world, especially now that I’m in my youth. Now, people need to know that sex is scaled 3/10 (according to me) in our social life. The first two are family and survival respectively. Thus sex, being an important factor that fuels the human society – at least to some level – should in my take be well discussed on. That is why today I meditate on sex and its effect.

People believe having sex, in any way is a form of exercise; for both the mental and physical. While this is true, some human beings have added to their beliefs to have sex with anybody who can satisfy their urge either friends, lover or a one night stand.

Believe it sexual intercourse is ‘sweet’ when done well and with the right person

As a human person, I greatly believe that having sex is beyond the exercise and pleasure that it gives, it brings about a connection between two souls, and there is a metaphysical exchange of spirits. The link between two bridges that results to one! There is an exchange of spirit actually. Now the kind of spirit being exchanged is the mystery we do not know. We have different spirits in different individuals. Now, this exchange, like Bitcoin investment is a risk, a gamble taken by sexual active individuals. While some people are lucky to exchange a good spirit, some get the bad luck and others get nothing. Maybe that is why most parents look alike after sexing for so many years!!

Apart from the metaphysical exchange of sexual intercourse, most of you would not disagree with me that sex generate feelings too. Most people use the sayings “its just sex, it was nothing”, ” it was a one time thing, I’ve forgotten about it”. It happens that the “nothing” sex sustains memories like “you remember Dickson? God! That guy was really an Edward and very good on bed_ too bad I’m married to Lanre”. What I am just trying to say is, sex brings about memories one cannot forget. This either boost one’s relationship or affects it negatively.

Ordinary sex might be good, but there is a higher level of it that people wish to connect with, the one that people feel is wonderful; not just because it is a sexual intercourse but because of the person involved. This is the level people tag as making love. Now this part is what makes me smile, because it is not “nothing”, it doesn’t matter if the penetration last for 10 or 5 minutes, what matters is the feeling, the interplay, the love that happens when those two people connect. It just goes boom boom boom. A blast! Like what happens between mated wolves. Now that thought of blast is worth the wait – for Mr Right. But then one would ask, what is Mr Right doesn’t produce that sexual satisfaction? What if I wait till marriage and it doesn’t happen?

Well, what if you keep trying with random beings and it never happens? Do one then become a slut looking for that blast of satisfaction? Why exchange spirits with different partners sexually, a risk we might not be able to handle. Well, sex defines the society too, now it is up to humans to determine how they use it to affect their lives. With whatever choice they make, it affects the future. So it is not “nothing” or “just random”, it is a determinant.

Beautiful piece Tosin however I disagree with the point of spiritual exchange, your spirit is your spirit, also there is nothing like soul ties , because there are people who have sex with lots of people who still turn out fine and have no ‘soul ties’ definitely you can’t have sex with people without emotions and remembering such experiences, however it’s up to the individual to control/renew his/her mind to forget such experiences , I’m in no way saying we should have premarital sex outside of God’s plan, however we shouldn’t give wrong information to make people stop because they will find out the truth sooner or later.

  3. “Sex generates feelings” U say. So does comedy, music, movies etc. Both sexual parties get some “feelings”, but mostly women make the mistake of catching the feelings. Women are more emotionally in tune. Most women I know make the grave error of misinterpreting the feelings from sex to be love. The ideal love should rather be built away from the physical but on compatibility (in principles, styles, beliefs etc)
    It’s civilization and religion that has our thinking tailored.

      • The human mind plays tricks. It rests on the person to keep a straight mind when these tricks occur. Listening to a consistently hilarious comedian also leaves a feeling of admiration, familiarity and love for the individual, when in fact there’s absolutely no connection! This explains why loved celebs act cold to many fans who over familiarize in public… Good sex gets the man feeling proud of himself, while the woman gets really emotionally heightened translating to respect, feelings of love. Love is a high emotion in the first place! I would not necessarily call what occurs with sex a “transfer of spirits”. It is said that sex is powerful though.
        That being said, putting aside religious rules and sentiments, good sex can be practiced between ANY two agreeing parties. It’s simply an agreement between two parties.

  5. Nice piece here Mccool
    But you know my stake on this issue all you have pointed out are all subjective to Geographic location, culture and belief.
    Here in Africa sex is more of an exchange, covenant and Spiritual bond, in western word sex is just sex and it’s really nothing but just an easy exercise that keeps cholesterol level on check.
    Educative write up all the same
