I am appalled at the rate of human hypocrisy. The judgemental attitude towards situations with illogical arguments. 🤦 Hypocrisy is now a lifestyle, unrecognised or ignored. That is why bad actions are not faulted intrinsically but only tagged bad if not done right. I am sure if Jacob had taken the place of Esau in this generation, his only fault would have been being caught for deceit, for doing it so wrong that he was caught, and not for the bad action itself. I have heard different opinions on different situations; “that man is dumb, even if he wants do shinaa, he shouldn’t have done it in the street that his wife lives😂”; “oh that guy no get sense, him wan copy for exam, him dey go front row… Now dem don cash am.🤡” One do not understand how moral judgement should be done anymore🤷.
That brings me to the story of Hush Puppi’s arrest for internet fraud. With the social media chaos and opinions, I got confused of his alleged crimes. Is he wrong for scamming thousands of people of their money or is he wrong for being so unwise to be flamboyant with the wealth gotten from fraudulent acts that alerted the authorities suspicions towards him, which eventually led to his arrest?
Fraudulent acts are sometimes like rape; no justification should be considered at all. There’s no “steal small or steal but work”. There’s no Robin Hood in this generation. What is bad is bad! Below are screenshots of a friend’s view on his WhatsApp status which I, to a lot of extent, agree with.
Really! I keep asking why we condemn actions with half of our mouths. You know, some people who have benefitted from Hush Puppi’s ‘giveaways’ judge and condemn him. Some of you have relatives doing the same suspected actions, which you also benefit from, and yet you sit to judge another. Such hypocrisy.

Nice write up i hope we all learn to face the fact and not being an hypocrite… if wasn’t caught some people will be at his feet kissing that damn leg
